  On March 7th, 2019, Prof. Li Wan, deputy director of our institute, led a team to hold an expert seminar on the “Research on the Collaborative Innovation Index of the Yangtze River Delta Region” in the Strategic Institute of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hu Zhijian, Dean of the Strategic Institute of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Liu Dongmei, Vice President. Cheng Guangyu, deputy researcher of the Department of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Liu Shulin, professor of the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Shiyun, director of the Beijing Science Research Center, Wang Shuhua, director of the Institute of Rural and Regional Science and Technology Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Long Kaiyuan, deputy director Experts attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Director Wang Shuhua of the Strategic Institute. The Research Team of the Collaborative Innovation Index of the Yangtze River Delta Region reported the progress of the research.
  
  At the seminar, experts focused on how to further promote the research on the collaborative innovation index of the Yangtze River Delta region. While fully affirming the current research progress, the experts made suggestions and suggestions on the optimization of the index research, and proposed to further clarify the connotation of the Yangtze River Delta collaborative innovation, the Yangtze River Delta region. The deep-seated problems of collaborative innovation and development, as well as in-depth analysis of the current administrative barriers and market barriers in the Yangtze River Delta, have strengthened research on the impact of collaborative innovation, and provide ideas for breaking through institutional barriers. Finally, the experts suggested that the research team should strengthen application-oriented research, and hope that the research results can provide suggestions for the coordinated innovation and development of the three provinces and one city, and support the integrated high-quality development with an integrated innovation pattern.
